Jesus became our substitute he took our penalty
and death sentence according to the law.
He went to hell and back for your precious soul.
I am forever indebted for his great love.

Your love is endless
you showed me when you
opened your arms and was
pierced for my sins and transgressions.

You stepped up and gently
put me off the path to my cross.
You over ruled the law and death penalty.
You wore the crown of thrones
torn into your precious head.

You lead me out of the clutches of
death and the eternal hell.
I will go Lord and tell them
how you were pierced,
of the nails they hammered
through your flesh.

I will tell them Lord how great is
your love for us.
You took our shame and punishment.
You stepped up and gave your life.
For no man could of taken it from you.
Your Love is endless my substitute.

My Lord I shall go and tell them of
your love.
