Today I was thinking of you
as I often do Dear Lord.
Have I told you lately?
How it feels when I think
about all you mean to
me in this earthly life.
Can I share the moments
closest to my heart?
Give you some of my love which
you have always so richly blessed
me with from you.
How I can hardly contain my spirit
from sprouting wings and flying
directly to your arms of loving grace.
You turn me inside out with
your loving ways.
You fill all my days with joy
immeasurable.
You are the sunshine that grazes
in the early morning hours.
You are the soothing moonshine
that lights the dark nights.
You are the gentle thoughts that
occupy my heart day and night.
I do love you Lord with my whole being.
Spirit , soul, and this body..
You are so gentle, loving, and always
an enduring kindness.
Anyone that could not love you
Sweetest Lord is full of blindness.
It is my prayer this morning that
many come to know the
lover of my soul.
That they can relate to you.
Just here, right this moment to say
If I have not said it enough
Dear Lord I love You More
each new morning.
